Uh oh!
Former New York Rangers player and notorious bad boy Sean Avery was arrested in Southampton last week and charged with criminal mischief and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

According to police, the 35-year-old was seen throwing objects (reportedly, rocks) at speeding cars the day before he was pulled over at a routine traffic stop. He was found in possession of two prescription drugs, acetaminophen with oxycodone, and roxicodone.
Reports indicate that Avery, who is no stranger to controversy, contacted the authorities about the speeding cars before taking matters into his own hands. He was released on $500 bail.

The NHL star’s attorney Edward Burke Jr. insists his client is actually prescribed the medications that were the basis of the charge, and he “looks forward” to addressing the other charge of criminal mischief in court.
On Tuesday, the Canadian native took to Twitter to prove that he wasn’t carrying the substances illegally, sharing:
