So THIS is what Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift’s friendship is really like?
Over the weekend, rumors emerged that the longtime besties were growing apart amid Taylor’s new group of friends. According to a wild report, Selena feels like an “outsider” because she “feels like she has matured out of Taylor’s circle of friends.” An insider reported:
“She has no desire to be out with Blake [Lively], or Ice Spice, or Brittany [Mahomes] or really any of those girls. In a lot of ways, she feels like an outsider now. She is not a cheerleader and never wanted to be.”
We can kind of understand that… We mean, all three of those ladies have been wrapped up in their own controversies! Blake with the It Ends with Us drama, Ice Spice with the Central Cee drama, and Brittany endorsing Donald Trump… Messiness galore! And Selena seems like she just wants to chill with her man! Speaking of…
On top of the friction between the gals, the pair reportedly feel their men Travis Kelce and Benny Blanco “would literally have nothing at all to talk about.” Hmm. We’re not sure if we buy all that. Both guys seem awfully gregarious to us… Are Selena and Tay really having such issues??

The truth is, Selena and Taylor still make time for each other amid their busy careers because they have a sisterly relationship! At least that’s how Selly puts it! In her cover story interview with Vanity Fair published on Monday, the Only Murders in the Building actress gushed:
“She is really like a big sister to me.”
Awww!
The two have even enjoy comparing notes on reality TV shows like Vanderpump Rules and The Valley! Selena dished:
“I’m on The Valley now. I’ve watched every episode of Vanderpump, so I don’t care if it’s bad!”
Now THAT’S some true bestie behavior!
Other than that, the Wizards of Waverly Place alum revealed she still seeks advice from Taylor about fame, the industry, music, relationships, and more. The interviewer even noted Selena was preparing for an convo before the visit, writing questions on her laptop for a celeb friend she “met through Taylor.” So yes, very much a part of her life!

We’re glad to hear these two are still tight. They’re definitely just in a different, more busy stage of life!
