Cameron Douglas, son of actor Michael Douglas, was busted earlier this week for selling crystal meth.
More details about his dealings are coming to light and we’ve got to say, we’d hate to be FedEx right now.
The compliant filed in court by the Drug Enforcement Administration explains that Cameron racked in tens of thousands of dollars since starting his “business” in 2006.
The papers detail that he would commonly use shippers like FedEx to send out his drugs and cash. The transactions used code words such as “pastry” or “bath salts” in order to slip under the radar.
In the paperwork, a particular transaction was explained, stating that “In 2007, according to another cooperator, Douglas was paid $48,000 at a Manhattan apartment. The cooperator later received a pound of crystal meth through FedEx from Santa Barbara, Ca.”
Wow, how lax is FedEx that drugs are being shipped completely undetected?!?
Anyway, Cameron has a long road ahead of him because not only does he have the bust against him, there are also three witnesses (users and dealers alike) who have come forward to testify against him.
We don’t think all his family’s money will help him much in this case.
Enjoy prison!
