UPDATE: New reports are saying that Shia has been charged with criminal trespass and 2 counts disorderly conduct. Police are saying he was caught smoking in the theater and later threatened other patrons as well as an officer!

Maybe someone should’ve pretended this was all part of his past performance art and just stayed QUIET!
Reports are coming in that Shia LaBeouf was arrested tonight in NYC after being disruptive during the first act of the Tony-nominated show Cabaret. Witnesses began to tweet out that the actor was escorted out of the theater before the show ended by police in handcuffs and driven off to be booked.
Police have confirmed Shia is currently in jail but hasn’t been charged with anything yet.
This isn’t the first time Shia has caused a stir on the Great White Way. Last year, he dropped out of the Broadway production of Orphans and pissed off Alec Baldwin.
Ah well! Life must be disappointing for him right now. But rest assured, sir — we won’t be forgetting about this!
