Shrek Dying A Slow, Painful Death On Broadway

It was another good week for Will Ferrell‘s Broadway play, You’re Welcome America. A Final Night With George W. Bush! The show was once again, the Great White Way’s most ‘packed’ production.

94.8% of available tickets were sold for the week.

Coming in last place, unfortunately, is the musical adaptation of Shrek. The green giant was only able to fill 51.6% of its seats last week.

Sounds like the kiddies are getting shafted in this economic downturn!

And, a big congrats to You’re Welcome America’s Pia Glenn for all the rave reviews she’s getting for rocking the Condalezzie role, with many saying she steals Will Ferrell’s show.

Her lap dance in red panties is burning up Broadway and there’s even talks of a spinoff!
