We feel for Simone Biles and her family right now as they continue to grapple with the difficult reality of her brother’s arrest on murder charges.
The five-time medalist and Olympic hero regrettably made headlines the other day, when news of her brother’s arrest on a handful of charges, including three counts of murder, broke all over the news media.

Now, those closest to the heroic gymnast are speaking out in support of her — or so it would seem.
The athlete’s boyfriend, Stacey Ervin Jr., alluded to the entire ongoing drama in an Instagram Stories post he made just hours after news broke of Tevin Biles‘ arrest in connection with a triple homicide. The post, which the young man made on Friday, showed off an inspirational quote alluding to tough times (below):
“The strongest people I’ve ever met have not been given an easier life. They’ve learned to create strength and happiness from dark places.”

Ironically (or not), on that same day, the 22-year-old gymnast posted a new photo to her own IG account in which she showed off Ervin, and wrote a sweet message to the pro wrestler. “Missing you a lil extra today,” she captioned the snap, which showed off the two of them standing and smiling together, to which Ervin ended up responding in the comments, “I miss you too babe ? I’ll see you very soon!”
Awwww! That is super sweet — and super supportive.

Very sweet — even if it comes up as part of a very difficult time for Biles and her family.
Her and Ervin have been together for about two years now, too — they actually just celebrated their anniversary earlier this month together — so it’s clear the gymnastics icon has at least something of a support system in her life right now.

No doubt she’ll need it as her brother faces down some very, very serious and potentially life-changing charges stemming from a Cleveland triple murder.
Ugh… this sort of stuff must be impossible to deal with, and we can only imagine what Biles is going through. Our hearts go out to her, and her family, as they grapple with this very, very difficult time…
