Ouch! Looks as though this one’s going to sink without a trace relatively soon if they don’t do some serious rewrites!
The second episode of the highly controversial US adaptation of the UK series Skins aired last night, and reportedly dropped a MASSIVE 52% in the ratings, with only 1.6 million viewers, compared to the premiere’s 3.3 million.
Of course, this is after a week of advertisers pulling out due to content, and no Jersey Shore lead-in beforehand, but we’re just going to say that the drop is most likely due to the fact the show is just bad.
So unfortunate! Guess MTV should have focused less on its wannabe edginess and more on making it watchable!
