Seriously!
If it isn’t luke-warm reviews or rewrites or delays, it’s FINES!
The most expensive Broadway musical ever just got a little more expensive due to three workplace violation fines:
The U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration issued the citations Friday for four separate incidents late last year that resulted in injuries to the cast.
The three citations carry $12,600 in proposed fines ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ a tiny percentage of the $65 million musical’s weekly costs. OSHA began its investigation after receiving a referral from the New York State Department of Labor.
Bummer!
The crew insists that safety is absolutely up to regulation now, so there shouldn’t be much to worry about, other than maybe those reviewers who will be in house on March 15th, the official opening of the show!
We wish you guys luck! You’ve been working SUPER hard on this for a while now!!
Will U go see the show come March 15th??
