What do Tony Romo, Marc Anthony, and Toni Braxton all have in common? Give up??
Each of them have more famous exs is eligible to watch Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark for FREE!!
It really isn’t as weird as it sounds.
Producers Michael Cohl and Jeremiah Harris invite anyone named Tony, Toni, Antonio, or… well, you get the picture, to attend their company├óΓé¼Γäós June 3 performance for absolutely free!
Wow!! We love a bargain!
June 3 is also the day the Tony Awards are broadcast.
See, Spidey’s was mostly overlooked by the nominating committee and the producers of the hit play (yes, those producers) refuse to take their snubbing sitting down.
They explained their strategy in a joint statement:

“It has been brought to our attention that the Tonys have been honoring Broadway for years, and we thought it was about time to repay the favor… Nothing would make us prouder than to have more Tonys than any other show on Broadway.”

Hmmm. They should put some fliers up in Little Italy!!
In either case, Peter Parker is due for a busy summer.
Andrew Garfield, who plays the swinging superhero in The Amazing Spider-Man this summer, was nominated for a Tony for starring in Death of a Salesman.
Talk about a tangled web of irony!!
