Spider-Man Swings Into The Marvel Universe -- Is He Going To Be An Avenger!?

Like, The Hulk big.
Sony announced on Monday that Spider-Man will officially be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe sometime before mid-2017!
After years of Spider-Man not fighting alongside The Avengers, the web-slinger will soon appear in an undisclosed Marvel movie before Sony drops its next installment of the franchise on July 28, 2017.

This means Peter Parker could show up in Avengers: Age of Ultron, Ant Man, or any of the other five movies currently on Marvel’s slate!
While this is great news for comic book fans, we wonder if Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield will be invited to take part in all of the fun.
Plus, we hear that this partnership could extend into other Marvel superheroes appearing in Sony’s Spider-Man series, so this is pretty much a win-win for everyone involved.
