Staind Frontman Aaron Lewis Walks Off Stage After Hearing Fan Speak Spanish: 'I Don't Know How To Speak Spanish, I'm American'

Staind frontman Aaron Lewis is making news for all the wrong reasons this weekend.
The rocker was performing solo at a show at the Pharr Events Center in Texas on Saturday night, when — according to an eyewitness who spoke to TMZ — he had a hissy fit after hearing a fan speak Spanish in the crowd.

According to the reports (and the video, which you can see HERE), Lewis was asking the crowd to be quiet and saying he wouldn’t play unless everybody shut up, which is a weird request for a concert, to be sure.
After the crowd became unruly over Lewis’ weird request, a fan appears to say something in Spanish to Lewis — which spurred a pretty disgusting response from him (below):

“I’m sorry, I don’t know how to speak Spanish. I’m American.”

Uggghhhhhhhh…….. WTF?!
The crowd didn’t care for that remark, or Lewis’ general demeanor all night on stage, and so they started to get pretty unruly with their disapproval.
And it was at that point Lewis decided to walk off stage, done for the night. Wow.
Racism AND pettiness. What a night!!!
