Such A Cheap Ploy

As we mentioned last week, former One Day at a Time star Mackenzie Phillips was arrested at the Los Angeles International Airport for allegedly possessing heroin and cocaine.

The D.A. has since charged Phillips with two felony counts of possession of a controlled substance, heroin and cocaine.

And now, the drug-loving actress has entered into rehab.

That’s one good note at least.

And a really smart publicity move!

Her attorneys can now argue that she’s taking the right steps to dealing with her drug problem.

There’s one thing that might hurt her, though. That’s the fact that this is her TENTH time in rehab!

If at first you don’t succeed….

Hope she gets a frequent visitor discount!
