More is coming out following the tragic death of West Wilson‘s grandma.
Hours after news broke that the Summer House star’s cousin Dakota Sweeney had been arrested for the alleged murder of their grandmother Gayle R. Wilson, TMZ obtained audio from a 911 dispatch call of the moments after police were called to the scene over a suspected shooting. The dispatcher is heard saying:
“What we’re hearing is that it is possible that subject shot his mother-in-law. … We do not know, we were on the phone with the third person who was not there, and he disconnected the call.”

The identity of the third person is unknown at this time. Listen to the dispatch audio (below):
As we previously reported, Sweeney was arrested and charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action on April 22 — the night before West filmed the Summer House reunion, where he was under fire for his controversial romance with Amanda Batula. A probable cause statement revealed a witness told cops Gayle had argued with Sweeney over not helping with chores around the house earlier that evening. He later allegedly sat quietly in the same room with his 75-year-old grandma for 30 minutes before shooting her with a handgun. When police arrived at the scene, Gayle was dead. How heartbreaking.
We continue to keep West and his family in our thoughts during this time.
