Surviving That Airplane Crash Has Made Him Rich And Famous!

Do you remember that pilot who helped land the malfunctioning US Airways plane into NYC’s Hudson River?
Captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger sure is one lucky man! The pilot, who was also invited to the presidential inauguration this year, as well as the Super Bowl, has just landed a deal to publish a book. Two books, actually.
And the best part? Industry insiders say he got an advance of almost $3,000,000 for agreeing to write both books.
Dayum!
Sully and his agent, Jan Miller, started to meet with publishers last week. Instead of using a proposal, Miller passed out Sully’s column that he had written for the My Turn page in Newsweek last month.
One of the editors who met with Sully said that the book would revolve around the idea that Sully’s “whole life experience led up to this moment [of the landing],├óΓé¼┬¥ and would include some lessons on facing life├óΓé¼Γäós challenges. Adding, ├óΓé¼┼ôIt would be mainly a narrative of his life and the key moments that prepared him.├óΓé¼┬¥ He also thought Sully seemed like ├óΓé¼┼ôthe real thing. There├óΓé¼Γäós a lot more substance to him than most people getting their 15 minutes of fame.├óΓé¼┬¥
What do U think? Would U go and buy his books?
