Glitch In Taylor Frankie Paul Interview Leads To Conspiracy Theories About Abuse Allegations... BUT

Is ABC trying to cover up what Taylor Frankie Paul is saying about her alleged domestic dispute with ex Dakota Mortensen? Conspiracy theorists may think so after what happened during her latest interview, but don’t break out the tin foil hats just yet!

Amid an open “domestic assault investigation” into an alleged physical altercation with her baby daddy, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star has been making the rounds on Wednesday to promote her upcoming season of The Bachelorette. The concerning allegations obviously come up during these interviews, but an odd thing happened when Taylor went to discuss them while at Live with Kelly and Mark on Wednesday morning.

When the show aired on the East Coast, Kelly Ripa asked:

“How are you doing? There’s a lot going on with you.”

To which Taylor replied:

“I’ve had better days, I will say –“

The audio and video then suddenly cut out and returned to Kelly asking her about the Oscars instead! Whoa! Taylor does go on to hint at the situation, saying that it took everything in her to get out of bed that day and show up for the award show. Although “that was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity” for her, she just felt the day was “so heavy.” She continued:

“I showed up, and it was a dream, but at the same time, I feel like there’s a lot going on. So it’s been just hard.”

OK, but what happened to those few seconds? What did she even say? Some online commenters think ABC is trying to censor Taylor’s comments. They wonder, perhaps she didn’t stick to the carefully crafted script that time, so maybe they cut it? The timing is strange! Not to mention that ABC reportedly was warned about her past alleged abuse before filming The Bachelorette, but went ahead with her as the lead anyway! They allegedly wanted her to boost their ratings, so they were willing to cut corners when it came to vetting. So we can understand why people may believe that the network is attempting to cover up her remarks about the controversy! If they ignored it then and still want a good season now, who’s to say they won’t censor something she says that they don’t like!

But, listen, everyone can stop with the theories before they get out of hand! It’s nothing more than a coincidence, say the reps for Live with Kelly and Mark! They told TMZ that the show experienced a technical transmission error at the time, but fixed it for the West Coast. Over on YouTube, you actually can hear what she said in those missing 5 seconds! She told hosts Kelly and Mark Consuelos:

“I’ve had better days, I will say, but I’m excited to be here today with you guys. So thank you for having me.”

She said nothing horrible here! No one is trying to hide anything! It was just an error all along! But boy, that is some wild timing! Watch the full interview with the missing part (below):
