Ummmm, have Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce ALREADY gotten engaged?!?
We’ve been hearing all kinds of reports the new couple was planning to get engaged over the summer and that the Kansas City Chiefs player was already starting to look at rings. Plenty of others have also been denying all the wedding chatter, too! But, uhh, did the big moment secretly happen?? According to the DeuxMoi podcast, yes!
In a recent episode of the pod, the creator revealed a trusted source of hers told her:
“Pretty sure Taylor and Travis got engaged 12/31. Did it just the two of them alone before that party they were photographed at.”
Hold on, so those sweet as pie videos of them kissing and seemingly dropping the L-bomb at a New Year’s Eve party were in celebration of their proposal??? Makes it even cuter!

But, obviously, there’s been no ring or sign of confirmation about this from the singer or athlete, so did it even happen? Well, DeuxMoi thinks there could be a calculated reason for the secrecy!
Because the pair is so busy right now with the SuperBowl lead-up and the international leg of the Eras Tour about to begin, they think it is “too soon to go public” with the news and make it official. The podcaster speculated:
“They don’t want to overshadow that. It’s too soon.”
Understandable. A bombshell like this would only make the spotlight on them even brighter — and it’s already freaking bright! With so much riding on these next few months (and weeks) for them, we get not wanting to add any more chaos to the mix, at least publicly. But privately? If this source is right, it sounds like they’ve set the plans in motion!
That said, the Anti-Hero artist and tight end have only been dating since sometime in the summer. It would be fast if Trav already popped the Q! And rumors about their future have been flip-flopping so much lately, so it’s really hard to know what’s true or not! Right now, we can only hope for the best and wait for the possible big announcement!
