Taylor Swift & Joe Alwyn 'Definitely' Want To Get Married: He’s Her 'Safe Constant'

Taylor Swift is ready to take a walk down the aisle with her “magnetic force of a man”! Ooh, we like the sound of that…

A source told Us Weekly on Tuesday that Tay and longtime boyfriend Joe Alwyn “definitely” want to get married. The insider revealed:

“[They] have talked about their future and marriage. They don’t have a set deadline in place, but they’re very much in love.”

The pop superstar has famously kept her latest relationship under wraps, but this source says Joe has consistently been there for her behind the scenes throughout, well, all sorts of drama let’s say. The insider continued:

“Taylor considers Joe one of the only safe constants in her life. He has always been a huge support and stuck by her.”

The Lover singer probably needs that support more than ever, as this news comes on the heels of her recently re-ignited feud with Kim Kardashian West.

On Monday, the Miss Americana star broke her silence about leaked footage of the infamous phone call regarding Kanye West’s single Famous. She encouraged her followers to “see what really matters” and donate to organizations providing relief during the coronavirus crisis.

Of course, that didn’t stop Kim from clapping back. She claimed Taylor was indeed “actually lying” and called her “self-serving.” KKW wrote on Twitter:

“.@taylorswift13 has chosen to reignite an old exchange – that at this point in time feels very self-serving given the suffering millions of real victims are facing right now. I didn’t feel the need to comment a few days ago, and I’m actually really embarrassed and mortified to be doing it right now, but because she continues to speak on it, I feel I’m left without a choice but to respond because she is actually lying.”

It’s starting to feel like 2016 all over again! But at least this time Tay has her beau by her side to deal with the drama.

This isn’t the first time Swift and Alwyn have courted engagement rumors. The couple, who have been dating since May 2017, have the full support of friends and family to take their relationship to the next level. A source last year said:

“Taylor’s friends are all talking about a proposal and how she really wants to marry Joe. He’s her dream guy. Taylor really believes Joe is the one for her. She wants to get engaged to him. She just doesn’t feel as though she has to impress anyone at this point.”

At one point in 2018, an insider even predicted the proposal would happen “soon”, and that the Harriet actor wanted to make it “unforgettable and extremely special.” On top of all the wedding imagery in Swifty’s Lover album, we’re starting to wonder what’s taking them so long! LOLz!
