Taylor Swift's Famously Private BF Joe Alwyn Speaks Out About Her Songwriting: 'It's Flattering!'

Sounds like Joe Alwyn doesn’t mind being in the public eye!

On occasion, that is… and only when it’s his Lover Taylor Swift singing about him! Besides, as we can only imagine, it must be intoxicating (and intimidating!) to know some of the world’s biggest pop songs are about you!

The Sunday Times spoke to the notoriously private actor about his love life with the country-turned-pop queen this week, and surprisingly, Joe opened up a bit about being Swift’s muse!

After the outlet asked whether Alwyn minds that he’s often the subject of song, the 28-year-old actor said (below):

“No, not at all. No. It’s flattering.”

Ha! Love it! A man of few words, who is clearly proud as f**k about his girlfriend’s career successes!

Equally interesting, Alwyn contested he’s also the subject of many lies, claiming that most everything you read about he and Taylor is “false” and “made up.”

The successful actor explained his statement more, citing for example how Swift doesn’t really have a private jet to fly to Joe whenever she wants, as has been reported in tabloids at various times.

Alwyn further added:

“Ninety-nine point nine percent of what the press write about us is false. [But] I just don’t pay attention to what I don’t want to pay attention to. I turn everything else down on a dial. I don’t have any interest in tabloids. I know what I want to do, and that’s this, and that’s what I am doing.”

Good to know! We’ll file that one away…

But seriously, what a great attitude to have if you’re in this business, and living the life he’s living right now!

After so many public stops and starts with several high-profile failed relationships, it’s no wonder Taylor has taken to that way of life. These two appear like they fit remarkably well together — and private life has done Swift some good, we’d say!

Of course, all that being said, we’d still really love for these two to make a joint red carpet appearance together, ya know?! Just once. Just for all of us to enjoy. …Please?!?! LOLz!!
