Taylor Swift has missed out on the Kansas City Chiefs‘ last two games — a road win in Georgia against the Atlanta Falcons Sundays before last, then a second away game victory in El Lay against the Los Angeles Chargers this past weekend. So, after taking over the NFL last year with her loyal attendance, fans are naturally a bit confused about whether there is trouble in paradise for her and boyfriend Travis Kelce!
But fear not, claims a new insider! According to a source who spoke to Us Weekly on Tuesday, things are A-OK in Tayvis land! Even though the Mean singer has been AWOL at the last two games, there is no trouble on the horizon.

So, basically, the insider laid it out like this. First, they claimed that “nothing has changed” for the couple. The source noted that the duo actually is spending “as much time together as possible” despite both being busy AF right now — we’re just not seeing it! They noted:
“They’re spending as much time together as possible while balancing their careers and individual responsibilities — his game and her music empire, along with personal projects.”
That’s lovely! And more on that in a minute. For now, though, there’s this: neither Travis nor Taylor are letting themselves get that worried about what the peanut gallery has to say! The source explained:
“They’re choosing not to dwell on the noise, focusing instead on staying true to themselves and being happy. They simply shrug off the stories. They see it as just another example of the press lifting someone up only to tear them down.”
Also, to be fair, Taylor was at Arrowhead Stadium for the first two Chiefs games of the year. And we’ve heard she’s more likely to be in attendance at home games because the security apparatus is already in place at Arrowhead to make her comfortable — something she needs with some of the hate out there.
By the way, the source did share some new specifics as to the 34-year-old crooner’s last two absences. Tay’s Eras Tour begins its final string of shows down in Miami very soon (October 18!!!), and TayTay simply wants to enjoy a bunch of different things before she goes head-long back into the chaos of touring:
“Their schedules are going to be getting super busy so Taylor has been enjoying a few more days of freedom before her upcoming shows. … Taylor is still super busy, but trying to manage her schedule to allow for a better work-life balance.”
The source did also note that Taylor is expected to be back at Arrowhead Stadium this coming Monday night, when the Chiefs host the New Orleans Saints for a little Monday Night Football action. YAY!!

From there, Tayvis has a bunch more football on the horizon. The Eras Tour will go on a mini-hiatus for Thanksgiving, and the day after that holiday, the Chiefs will host the Las Vegas Raiders. Again, it’s a home game so she’ll probably be there.
Then, Taylor’s groundbreaking tour will finally wrap up with three shows in Vancouver in early December, after which the source claims the couple is “looking forward to spending the holidays together.” That includes a Chiefs road game in western Pennsylvania on Christmas Day, when the Pittsburgh Steelers welcome them to town. Taylor in Steeltown?! Bring it!!
In the end, the source was very bullish on the couple’s long-term future:
“They are both focused on their work now and just want to get through the holidays and the tour, and will be figuring out their next moves after the new year.”
Oh, and there’s this, too! The source isn’t stressed at all about Travis’ supposed sluggish start to the season. No matter what critics may be whining about, the insider was adamant that (a) Kelce’s play is just fine, and (b) Taylor isn’t holding him back in any way. They explained:
“The situation is being blown out of proportion, and everything is perfectly fine regarding Travis. With so many eyes on him now there’s a tendency for people to overreact if his game isn’t perfect. He’s as committed to the game as ever, in excellent shape, and doing well.”
That seems to track, too, since Travis enjoyed season-high numbers in both catches and receiving yards against the Chargers this past weekend. So, yeah, he’s coming around on the gridiron! And it’s pretty clear — based on these comments, at least — that there are no real issues between the duo. Just a lot of super nosy people expecting the worst!!
