Taylor Swift Expertly Handles Eras Tour Stage Malfunction Mid-Show – WATCH!

Taylor Swift kept her calm at her latest Eras Tour show — or should we say, the Errors Tour!

During the final night of her three shows in New Orleans on Sunday, the pop star faced a rare stage malfunction that caused her to perform The Tortured Poets Department section of her concert in a new way for the very first time! While singing Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?, the 34-year-old famously zooms around on stage thanks to a silver platform known as the “roomba” or “Tayoomba.” However, during her latest show, the platform suddenly stopped working mid-performance! Oh, no!

Like the true professional she is, the musician didn’t miss a beat. When she noticed her ride was no longer moving, she continued to dance and act as if nothing was wrong. Her dancers also all gathered together to try to push the platform, but they didn’t get far until they were seemingly told to stop. Ultimately, TayTay hopped off and strutted down the catwalk as her dancers followed behind her. From there, the platform was later lowered off stage and out of the way.

Then, for the first time ever, the Grammy winner performed Down Bad without the platform. That left her to improvise the choreography on the floor of the stage. Ch-ch-check it out:

Amazing!

She and the dancers all handled that SO smoothly! You never would have guessed that it was the first time this had gone wrong! Proves how talented they all are! And the best part? Fans LOVED the new version! They commented across social media:

“i bet she had SO much fun doing this”

“Made new choreography in seconds, thats insane”

“The way I didn’t even realize watching the live”

“Okay but she’s like ‘crazier’ this way and I kinda love it”

“I don’t think we appreciate the dancers enough for them going along with it so well”

“i love this version!! it makes her look so manic in the best way”

“This brings a whole new vibe to the dance!”

“IT WAS RARE I WAS THERE (i was watching a stream)”

Goes to show that some mistakes aren’t so bad after all!

As mentioned, this was Taylor’s final show in the city. During the first two performances, she gave a sweet nod to her boyfriend Travis Kelce by throwing a fake football and making the symbol for a touchdown during her rendition of Midnight Rain — ultimately manifesting the tight end’s first touchdown of the season during Sunday’s Kansas City Chiefs game! Awesome!
