For many it’s still hard to believe that Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston‘s whirlwind romance is already over!
As we previously reported, Hiddleswift called it quits on their relationship after only three months of dating and it seems like several factors caused the demise of this short lived power couple. Sigh!

Most recently, sources revealed to Us Weekly that the twosome rushed into things too quickly and when the 35-year-old left to film Thor: Ragnarok in Australia things began to unravel. One insider noted:
“They just dived in and it backfired.”
Well, duh. However, few may not realize Tom and Taylor even took a brief break before officially splitting. The source added:
“They decided to take a break and it turned into a breakup.”
After jet setting across the globe together, the Blank Space singer’s romance with the Marvel action star simply wasn’t designed to survive long distance. Another Swift confidant relayed:
“Especially because they were together every minute when they started dating. They’d gotten used to that.”
Although the blonde beauty made an effort to visit Tom down under, their time apart caused some serious tension which led to a major fight in early August. On the duo’s explosive argument, another insider explained:
“It was a major argument. They fought about not spending enough time together.”
Obviously, this was a major warning sign that Hiddleswift was nearing the end. While it’s said Miz Swift dumped the Crimson Peak artist after they couldn’t agree on how public their relationship should be, a Hiddleston source claims the British hottie “grew tired” of the A-lister. Oof!

Regardless of how it all ended, both Taylor and Tom are said to be “embarrassed” with how everything went down. A different confidant dished:
“I think she feels a little embarrassed that the whole world saw them so serious and now it’s over. She’s doing OK ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ just living her life and not talking about Tom…she’s been writing a bunch.”
We smell a new album in the works! Still, who knows if things are truly over for Tom and Taylor as those close to the former flames believe the exes could work things out. An insider concluded:
“They could get back together when Tom is done filming and comes back to the States. It’s possible they will see each other and make it work. She had an amazing time with him.”
Hmm, very inneresting. We guess we’ll just have to wait and see if these crazy kids find a way back to each other!
