Over the weekend, we reported that the the Teen Mom alum had been arrested after violating his parole, but details were slim. Now we’re hearing that before he was put behind bars Friday, he was actually rushed to the hospital! According to court docs obtained by The US Sun, the 35-year-old was found unconscious in his truck around 12:06 a.m. by police. The arrest affidavit revealed:
“Police found the driver, Ryan Edwards, sitting in the driver’s seat with the vehicle running and in drive.”

Authorities added that the reality star was “unconscious and unresponsive.” He had apparently been driving under the influence when he lost consciousness. Thankfully his vehicle allegedly hit a curb and was stopped in place. The court docs continued:
“Ryan Edwards was removed from the vehicle and placed in [an ambulance], where he received Narcan and eventually regained consciousness. A quick search of Ryan Edwards by EMS turned up a small bag of what appeared to be a crystal-type substance and a second small bag of what appeared to be a blue powder. Also in the pocket was a paper receipt that had been rolled up.”
While the specific contents of the bags were not disclosed, the Drug Enforcement Agency warned in a 2022 release that fentanyl can come in “pills, powder, and blocks that resembles sidewalk chalk” of all colors, including blue.

The father of three was transported to a nearby hospital, where he refused a blood test that would determine what exactly was in his system. However, the court docs revealed:
“Ryan Edwards advised that he snorted a powder before waking up in the back of an ambulance.”
After Ryan was released from the hospital, he was arrested and charged with a DUI and possession of a controlled substance.
This is the latest addition to the MTV star’s increasing mountain of legal drama, after he pleaded guilty to a harassment charge last month, and was ordered by a judge to enter rehab for his drug problems and to wear a GPS ankle monitor for the duration of his nearly year-long probation. He was also ordered to no longer contact his ex Mackenzie Edwards, and to not post about her on social media.
Ryan has also been wrapped up in former possession charges, and was discovered to be a member of the Black Pistons Motorcycle Club — a gang known for distributing child pornography and dealing cocaine.
