Teyana Taylor is calling out Kayla Nicole!
If you missed it, on Thursday, Travis Kelce‘s ex Kayla went on the Unapologetically Angel podcast where she initially shaded Teyana. When asked what her “craziest” relationship story was, she recalled what she did after Iman Shumpert “dumped” her for Teyana seemingly sometime around 2013. Shumpert, then, was married to Teyana from 2016 to 2023. On that pod, Kayla shared:
“I was dating a guy and he dumped me through a text message, and he dumped me for this singer/actress who was famous at the time. Dumped me for her, lied about it for months, then popped out with her and it became like this public thing, and it was like, ‘Oh my god, we love them!’ Another, like, celebrity iconic relationship.”

Kayla recalled being “devastated” and “heartbroken” by the split at the time. So, to get back at her ex and his new girl, she dressed up like Teyana for Halloween! She dished:
“For Halloween that year, I dressed up as her. I dressed up like that lady for Halloween!”

Well, Teyana just caught wind of this shady remark and she hit back with her own shade! Taking to her Instagram on Friday, Teyana posted about all the upcoming projects she has in the works — seemingly as a way to clap back at that “was famous” remark. She wrote:
“I know 2025 gone hate to see a Taylor coming!!”
Hah! That seems like a reference to T-Swift. And it wasn’t the only one! As another dig to Kayla, she added the song Shake It Off to the post. Hah!
Later, Teyana posted a lengthy comment under a post by The Shade Room in which she really laid it into her rival, writing:
“F**k the iman part, l’m divorced and happily so, however her choice of words were very distasteful and uncalled for. She knew exactly what she was doing. That lady said ‘she was famous at the time’ [and] also said ‘idc who see it’ [and] it was very distasteful & uncalled for. Most importantly she knew people would dig. So automatically my name is attached to the nonsense.”
The Coming 2 America star went on to point out she had no idea Kayla’s costume was meant to be a diss, adding:
“I’m finding out just like the rest of the world that her intentions were ill and petty. She pulled the black card when it came to Taylor Swift, but in the same circle, turned around and tried to bully the black woman that was married to her situationship she claimed ‘dumped her’ for me. Dressing up like me for what?? Crazy part about it all is, I actually showed love under her pic when she posted it! Like I did the other [thousands of] people that dressed up as me for Halloween. Whole time I ain’t even know she was being shady. Now I do.”

Interestingly, Kayla already clapped back on Friday, writing on X (Twitter):
“Sometimes I’m asked about my personal life and decide to share the lessons I’ve learned. To reiterate what I said in the hour long interview — learn from my mistakes. If u watched in its entirety, you’d know I don’t condone the ‘crazy’ decision I made literally 10 YEARS AGO.”
On Saturday, she also uploaded a video of herself on her Instagram Story in which she twirled her hair and held up a peace sign while Beyoncé’s Formation sang in the background:
“You know you that bitch when you cause all this conversation. Always stay gracious, best revenge is your paper.”
Damn. This is SOOO messy!! Kayla’s got beef with so many of her exes’ other women. LMFAO!
