Authorities say three intoxicated men stole a 14-foot flattened and preserved alligator, strapped it to a pickup truck and took it off-roading to a mud bogging party.
Michigan residents and classy senior citizensDouglas Earl Ward, 55, and Roy Allen Griffith, 60, along with John Earl Sanborn, 53, are each charged with breaking and entering for allegedly stealing the 14-foot stuffed alligator from a man’s barn.
The men tied the gator to the top of a pick up and took it off-roading.
Police found the men – by following the cars tracks — and discovered their blood-alcohol content exceeded 0.40, which is five times the state’s legal limit if someone were to drive.
Griffith (the driver) is free on a $10,000 personal bond.
