HUGE Error In Blake Lively v Justin Baldoni Story... Concerning That Jenny Slate Complaint! THR Says...

THR Made A Huge Error In Their Blake Lively Vs. Justin Baldoni Story

Uh oh! The Hollywood Reporter was just caught making a big mistake in their big Blake Lively v. Justin Baldoni lawsuit report!

Last week, the outlet put out a lengthy article breaking down the It Ends With Us battle, suggesting it was a “culture misunderstanding” due to the director’s Baha’i faith. They also looked into Blake’s claim that two other actresses made complaints about Justin amid the production, something she stated in her amended lawsuit (without revealing the actresses’ identities).

According to THR intel, one of those women was Jenny Slate — who actually had an issue with Justin’s producing partner Jamey Heath. Apparently, she grew “uncomfortable” with the way he spoke to her amid a housing issue. In the original report, the outlet claimed she “filed a complaint to the film’s distributor Sony about the incident.” But it turns out that’s NOT what happened!

An eagle-eyed fan noticed on Friday that the publication made a key change to the article after it was originally published, which read:

“Word got back to Sony, the film’s distributor. According to sources, Sony then informed Wayfarer about it.”

Wow!

It’s a small but significant change! Because, of course, it’s way better for Blake’s case if Jenny DID file an HR complaint that went unaddressed. It would show a bigger pattern of alleged misconduct and coverup than what she’s claimed in her accusations alone. But from the sounds of this, Jenny didn’t take that route and someone else happened to share her concerns for her in a less formal way. Hmm.

But that’s not all! The outlet has changed the wording again! According to the same fan, there’s been four different versions of that one line, which now reads on Monday:

“According to sources, Sony became aware of Slates’ concerns and informed Wayfarer about them.”

Never mind the fact in all the scrambling they got the possessive apostrophe wrong this time. They’re also making it sound a little more assertive on Sony’s part. They “became aware” implies they looked into it, as opposed to “word got back” which makes it sound like they were clueless until a little birdie came and told them.

The Hollywood Reporter acknowledged the change in a small footnote at the bottom of the report, stating:

“This story has been updated to provide additional context regarding Ari Emanuel’s quotes about Lively and Baldoni. Due to a technical glitch, a portion of this story regarding Jenny Slate reverted to an earlier unedited version and has since been updated. THR regrets the error.”

Hmm…

Did the journalist just misinterpret the source’s comments? Or was someone trying to manipulate the narrative? Also, why keep changing the wording?? There obviously wasn’t one “unedited version” out there. It seems like someone is stressing over the wording of this! Why?

FWIW, the Gossip Girl star has said that the actresses agreed to testify in the case, so if that happens, we will get the full story on this situation. So far, Jenny has not commented on the matter.

Thoughts??
