Only weeks after its premiere at the Brisbane International Film Festival, The Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence) has been banned in Australia, as the country’s Classification Review Board refused to give it a rating, citing ├óΓé¼┼ôgratuitous, exploitative or offensive depictions of violence.”
Ros Phillips, a spokeswoman for FamilyVoice Australia, says:
“Pornography based on human torture has no place on Australian screens.”

Regardless of whether or not we think this movie should be banned, we have a feeling movie-goers down under are breathing a sigh of relief!
Seriously – a movie about a man who masturbates with barbed wire to 12 people, naked and stapled together ass-to-mouth, can be released in the United States with minimal to no edits, and yet everyone flips out over NC-17 flicks like Shame, that are actually ABOUT SOMETHING?!
