While many this year will be dressing up like Lady GaGa, or her alter ego, for Halloween, it seems a lot of people are sticking to the classics.
Turns out the most popular costume this year will be a witch!
According to a National Retail Federation survey, a witch, pirate, vampire, zombie, and Batman are the most popular costumes this year.
As for kids, the top ones include being a princess, witch, spiderman, pirate and a pumpkin. And even pets are getting in on the action, with the top costumes consisting of a pumpkin, devil, hot dog, bee, and cat.
Yes, a dog dressed up as a cat… cute!
Also, although not the top costume this year, one of the most popular at Party City is Charlie Sheen! Reveals a rep for the store:
“People love taking on a completely new persona for Halloween, and who better then the wild and unpredictable Charlie Sheen?”
