Drew absolutely killed it on Michael Jackson night yesterday with her interpretation of Billie Jean. Wow! Wow! Wow!
That vocal was flawless! Nuanced! Passionate! Absolutely captivating!
It didn’t bother us that she didn’t get out of that chair. She didn’t have to! It didn’t bother us that she didn’t go out of her comfort zone and do an uptempo. This was her sweet spot and it was a homerun!

The only other standout performance last night was Marcus Canty with his take on P.Y.T.!
He started off very strong and continued that way throughout the rest of his performance!
A lot of the credit goes to that fierce arrangement/remix/update of the song! It felt so CURRENT and fresh! But, Marcus really delivered it! So well!
He had something to prove and you could tell! It paid off!
