Tom Cruise Closing Deal For Rock of Ages Role

Lately, Tom Cruise has been making headlines for Scientology. Soon though, it might be for singing!
A rep for Cruise has confirmed that the actor is currently in the process of a closing a deal to take on the role of “womanizing rocker” Stacee Jaxx in Adam Shankman’s film adaptation of award-winning Broadway musical Rock of Ages.
As Stacee Jaxx, Cruise will sing Bon Jovi’s Wanted Dead or Alive, and he’ll be part of other musical numbers as well.
We’ve been pretty creeped out and disturbed by everything we’ve been hearing Scientology-related lately, but in an effort to separate the two, we’ll admit we’re curious to see how Tom will fare in a musical.
