Tom Sandoval knows he messed up! When put on the spot anyway…
In a rare candid convo with a paparazzo on Monday night, the Vanderpump Rules star admitted he “could’ve handled” his affair with Raquel Leviss “way better.” Well, no s**t, Sherlock!
After spotting the bar owner in a parking lot somewhere in the Los Angeles area, a cameraman asked Sandoval if he regretted how he ended his nearly 10-year relationship with Ariana Madix. While he steered clear of the word “regret”, he did seem somewhat apologetic!

In the video obtained by Page Six on Tuesday, the 39-year-old said:
“Hindsight’s always 20/20, man. It’s like when you look back at a situation, you think of all the things [you] should’ve, would’ve, could’ve done to make it better.”
Clarifying, he added:
“Yes, I could’ve handled things way better. Of course.”
Such an easy thing for him to say now… If only he’d thought about this before hooking up with his longtime GF’s friend and co-star!
Apologies aside, the TomTom co-owner did seem a little salty for taking so much “heat” from Bravo viewers despite many of his cast members also dealing with cheating scandals in the past. On why he thinks his time in the hot seat has been so brutal, he guessed it was because the affair was “really unexpected.” When pressed about having regrets again, he simply insisted he could’ve handled the breakup better and walked off. Innerestingly, this isn’t the first time Tom has expressed his apologies to Ariana — but he’s never been able to do it without a little bit of a nudge!
After Scandoval first made headlines, the reality star released an apology but spent most of the time asking fans to keep hitting up his businesses amid the drama. Faced with a ton of criticism, he returned with a second statement addressing his ex, writing:
“My biggest regret is that I dishonored Ariana. I never meant to disappoint so many people, including our loving families and friends.”
Late last week, the former couple met up again with the entire VPR cast to record the season 10 reunion, which was said to be VERY explosive! Per reports, Tom and Raquel took a beating from everyone for their affair, but mostly Lala Kent and James Kennedy. We’d have to imagine Ariana was in the mix, as well — though we’ve heard she may not have had to be the one taking swings!
We wouldn’t be surprised if Tom is just trying to sound apologetic now to better his reputation. The fact he goes so out of his way to avoid using the word regret implies to us he doesn’t want to say he’s that sorry for cheating. Maybe because he doesn’t want to upset Raquel now?? Thoughts?
