Hands On Crotches! A Transgender Man Has Recreated Adam Levine's Famous Naked Photo To Raise Awareness For Trans Issues!

This is awesome!
Aydian Dowling, a 27-year-old transgender man, has recreated Adam Levine‘s iconic naked-hands-on-crotch image from 2011 for FTM magazine (a transculture publication) in order to bring attention to transgender issues.
Adam’s photo was originally published in Cosmopolitan UK to raise awareness for a UK testicular cancer and prostate campaign.
Aydian worked with the magazine’s publisher Jason Robert Ballard, whose idea it was to recreate the photo for the magazine’s April issue, to make their own version.
Regarding the reasoning behind the photo, Aydian said:

“Some areas of my body used to remind me of everything I’m not. Now they represent everything I am.”
