Carter Wilkerson found Internet fame in 2017 by getting the most retweets of any tweet ever.
In case you don’t remember, it was all about getting free chicken nuggets from Wendy’s.

Why?? What’s it all about??
Apparently Yusaku Maezawa, a billionaire who founded Zozotown, Japan’s biggest online fashion retailer, went for it not by trying to score free stuff but by GIVING AWAY free stuff.
He promised to pay ¥100 million — that’s about $920,000 — in cash to 100 random people who followed his account and retweeted the message.
Welp, that’ll do it.
Carter responded to the news with typical optimism, writing:
it has been an amazing year and a half and i want to thank everyone who retweeted and helped my receive my year of free chicken nuggets
— Carter Wilkerson (@carterjwm) January 7, 2019
thank you all for making my life so exciting ❤️
