Ty Pennington To Get A Daytime Show?

Ty Pennington‘s contract with ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition ends in spring of 2012 and now his team is working on getting the host a daytime show as well.
They’re looking into other networks besides ABC and are hoping for a transition similar to Joy Behar‘s from daytime to primetime who also kept both time slots on The View on ABC and her own show on HLN.
Audience research suggests he’d do well with a daytime show and we don’t see why not!
He’s a hit considering his Q scores run higher than all daytime hosts aside from Ellen DeGeneres!
