Say it ain’t so!
After a long and very fierce run on America’s Next Top Model, Nigel Barker, J. Alexander and Jay Manuel will not be returning for Cycle 19!
Tyra Banks confirmed the dismissal on Thursday, via Twitter of course:
“Fierce & love 2 my @NigelBarker, @MrJayManuel & Miss J. #ANTM turned us in2 a family. Excited for what the future holds for us,”
Barker took the high road and replied:
@tyrabanks best of luck with Cycle 19, It has been a pleasure working with you the past 8 years. Much love Nigel.” ├óΓé¼┬¿├óΓé¼┬¿
No explanation has yet been given for the mass elimination exodus, but we’re sure it wasn’t by choice!
As we mentioned before, the current cycle kicked off with poor ratings, so it looks like the network wants to revamp the show by bringing in some fresh faces to join Kelly Cutrone and Tyra on the judges’ panel.
We’ll miss them, but now that they are no longer in the running…who do U think would make a great judge next Cycle?!
