WTF?!? Benji & Joel Madden Are KFC's New Spokesmen In Australia!

Well isn’t this a conflict of interest?!?
Benji Madden used to back PETA like crazy and is maybe still a vegetarian, but he recently signed a deal with KFC in Australia… as their new spokesman!!
HUH?!?
And to make this a lot more inneresting, he got his vegetarian brother and band mate Joel Madden in on the fun too.
But what makes this so weird is the fact that Benji has asked people to avoid the fast food chicken chain, but now he’s promoting them.
So PETA of course, worked their magic and released a statement about the brothers’ bizarre new job, they said:

“It is irresponsible for anyone to be a spokesperson for a fast food company. We hope that the guys in Good Charlotte consider the effects of their decision on human health, the environment and animals before they sign their next endorsement deals.”

We’re thinking these guys got a BIG bag of loot because why else would they do something like this?!?
They could have possibly given up their non-meat ways, but to do it over $$$ doesn’t seem good enough.
Whatevs, hopefully they have a reputable excuse reason because this just doesn’t make any dang sense!!
