Wendy Williams Reportedly 'Not In A Good Place' And 'Spiraling Out Of Control'

Wendy Williams‘ sobriety is apparently being challenged.
The 54-year-old TV host — who was previously living in an NYC-area sober home with a 24-hour sober coach — is reportedly starting to struggle with staying clean once again as the pressures of life, including her ongoing divorce from Kevin Hunter Sr., continue to rage on around her.

A source spoke cryptically to Us Weekly about Wendy’s current status, revealing with broad — but disturbing — language how the daytime talk show queen is not doing well at this moment. The source said (below):

“Wendy is not in a good place. Friends close to her are worried she’s spiraling out of control.”

Uh-oh…
Williams — who previously overcame a decade-long battle with cocaine addiction when she was a radio host in her younger days — had been struggling with alcohol more recently, as we’ve been reporting over the past few months. Now, if this source is to be believed, it sounds like Williams’ demons may once again be facing her down during a particularly tough moment in her life. So unsettling!
If true, it unfortunately wouldn’t come as a huge surprise. After all, there’s more than enough drama in Williams’ life to go around, even as she continues her brief planned vacation from her talk show, and even as she enjoys her time in the middle of a fling with 27-year-old beau Marc Tomblin.

Hunter remains an issue, for one; the estranged husband has gone toe-to-toe with Wendy over seemingly trivial issues since their breakup, and there’s no sign either one of ’em will call off the dogs any time soon.
Furthermore, Hunter Sr. still hasn’t reconciled with the ex-couple’s son, Kevin Hunter Jr., and there’s little hope for any sort of relationship between the two men to take hold in the near future. Whether Wendy herself is the driving factor in creating a wedge between the two men remains to be seen, but we do know the whole thing is making the divorce an even more high-tension affair than usual.
