When Bad Fashion Happens To Good People

This is all sorts of wrong!

Wearing a grandma inspired frock, Cate Blanket Blanchett wore THAT to the opening of Screen Worlds at ACMI in Melbourne.

We know it’s winter in the land down under, but was this necessary?

The inneresting garment is from the Doilies and Pearls, Oysters and Shells Collection by a label called Romance Was Born.

At least Cate didn’t bring the matching purse from the collection!

Fortunately, or unfortunately for those that prefer this look, the garment is not being put into production.

It was made for the line’s Australian Fashion Show earlier this year.

You’re just gonna have to ask your grandmas to make it for you!
