When your career is lagging, what better than to appeal to the nostalgia of middle-aged folks with an album of old-timey covers?
That’s exactly what singers Cher and Wynonna Judd are doing!
Cher is reportedly coming out with an album of 60s covers because “it was such a magical time for music” and she wants to “pay tribute to a time when I used to listen to music on my little transistor radio,” she says.
Quaint!
Wynonna’s Sing, however, covers a broader range of genres, drawing on the likes of Hank Williams and Merle Haggard for her covers because “it’s all me, its all part of the tapestry of who I am.”
They should just collaborate and spare all the yuppies that extra 20 bucks!
