Get ready to Ease on Down the Road!
NBC dropped the first teaser for The Wiz Live on Tuesday — and we finally get to see the all-star cast in their iconic costumes strolling down the Yellow Brick Road!
The clip reveals newcomer Shanice Williams as Dorothy who belts out one the musical’s hit songs before saying the famous phrase:
“There’s no place like home.”

The 19-year-old is joined by Ne-Yo playing the Tinman, David Alan Grier as the Cowardly Lion, and Elijah Kelley as Scarecrow!
The rest of the star-studded cast includes Queen Latifah as The Wiz, Uzo Aduba as Glinda the Good Witch, and Mary J. Blige as the Wicked Witch of the West!
