Adult Woman Beats Up Child On Flight -- After He Called Her Miss Piggy!

Woman beats up child on airplane after he calls her Miss Piggy

A woman has been arrested for beating up a fellow airline passenger over a childish insult! The bigger issue? That passenger was, in fact, a child.

Kristy Crampton was taken away by the Sanford Airport Police on Monday. According to an arrest report obtained by multiple outlets, Kristy had boarded a flight departing from the Sanford-Orlando International Airport in Sanford, Florida and heading for Hagerstown, Maryland. But before it could take off, the pilot called the police to report a “disturbance” on board.

By the time officers arrived, Crampton and other individuals from the group she was traveling with had already “voluntarily” gotten off the plane and were “walking away from the gate.” Police caught up with her to ask what happened, and she confessed she struck the child, whose name and age were redacted. She said she acted after they insulted her, calling her “fat” and “Miss Piggy.”

Yikes!

She went on to accuse the child of being “very rude” and “disrespectful” during a trip they had been on to Disney World together. She claimed things escalated on the flight when the child kept pushing her arm off the armrest after she took their phone away. That’s when the fat jokes and fists started flying.

According to witnesses, the woman allegedly used her water bottle to strike the child — then got more serious and “slammed” their head into a window. Throughout the attack, the child reportedly attempted to cover their head to protect themself. A witness told police:

“The woman was not correcting the child. She was abusing [them].”

As they put it, she was “whipping the s**t out of the kid.”

Oof.

Cops reported drugs and alcohol did not play a role, but Crampton was arrested and charged with felony child abuse. However, she was released on a $10,000 bond a day later after attending a hearing in front of a Seminole County judge. According to WFTV, she was ordered to not reach out to the child.

As of now, it’s still not clear what the woman’s relationship is to the child. But it’s clear she needs some anger management if she’s going to be around children, no matter whose they are.
