Why does this keep happening?
Now that YouTube stars have officially reached celebrity status, it shouldn’t be a surprise that their newfound level of fame can sometime lead to controversy.
However, we’re constantly shocked that most of the scandal that are uncovered have to do with rape and sexual assault!

YouTuber Tobuscus, aka Toby Turner, is the latest Internet celeb to be accused of rape after his ex-girlfriend AprilEfff, aka April Turner, penned a strongly worded Tumblr post against him last Friday.
In the very lengthy and graphic post, April alleges that Toby drugged and raped her on multiple occasions throughout their three-year friendship/relationship back in 2013.
Since April’s post, many other famous Vloggers have echoed her claims; Kathleen Elliott (Katers17) claims she was also assaulted by Turner, while Philip DeFranco and his most recent ex Jaclyn Glenn both concur with April’s accounts of his personal drug habits.
Tobuscus’ followers are saying she has no evidence.
While the alleged incident did take place three years ago, April did share a series of implicating texts, saying:

Toby has since released a video defending himself, and while it’s impossible to know if he really did rape her or not, we think it’s clear he has a problem.
