Girlfriend looked hawt in black, knee-high boots and her sexy red coat.
Michelle could take a couple hints from her!
Just because you're older doesn't mean you have to layer up in frump!

All the other fashion "police" says that Michelle got it right. Perez says she got it wrong. Now when I see the stuff that Perez wears, I know who I should listen to and it's NOT Perez.

I disagree, though I thought Jill looked great, I definatly don't feel she looked better than Michelle!!! Michelle looked very classy, and that dress was HOT, she looked like a true FIRST LADY, and something about that color of her dress, up against MR. PRESIDENT'S red tie looked FANTASTIC!!!!!

She was completely inappropriate. Her dress was way too short, she should not have been bare legged and should have worn stockings, and her dress was SHORT SLEEVED!!!! In January! In Washington! Michelle looks regal and fresh….the whole Obama family looks fresh, and entirely appropriate.

I think Jill should have done it up a little more. I wasn't thrilled with Michelle's choice of colors (yellow and green??????) but she did look the part. She is the first lady…. a woman who should look classic and sophisticated. Mission accomplished.
The coat is cute. Her dress was cute (though not appropriate for the weather). But those hooker boots are certainly not appropriate for the wife of the VP. Please see the Bush family for how to properly dress for an inaugural event.

I think while the boots were nice, her dress should have been longer. she looked trampy and not someone of the presidental party. There is a time to dress young and a time not too. this was a time not too. Michelle had class and looked like a first lady.
