The tune is a ballad. It's black. It's got cheesy cheesy lyrics, we're assuming Britney wrote.
The only redeeming thing about the song is that you actually hear Brit Brit sing. Like SING! In a way she hasn't in ages.
She obviously is feeeeeling what she's singing about.
If she wants a hit, though, she's gonna need to step up her game.

I could see it now: Britney depressed being followed by the paparazzi, Britney seeing bad tabloid shots of herself all over the place, Britney's kids not wanting to be with her, Britney making a phone call but whoever she's calling isn't picking up… etc, basically a pity fest… then at the end, she could take the wig off. And then, the rumours about her taking the wig off in the video would give it some hype and people would be all over it.

Oh man, that SUCKED! I couldn't even listen to the entire thing! Once I got thru the "talking" part (and by the way, I busted out laughing at the lyric "Would you mind getting me some…." ’cause the first thing I though of was CHEETOS!) and heard the first few lines of the last "singing" part I had to bail…..that is awful. Why does it sound like a music box or a nursery rhyme? It's totally lame.
