At least one family source defends Spears, saying a lack of education is to blame: “She loves her children so much, but it’s like she’s never been taught how to properly take care of them.” Even when she holds her kids on her lap, says the friend, that maternal bond seems to be missing: “She looks lifeless. It’s like she doesn’t understand the impact of being a mother.”

But what they are saying about her is probably true. Anyone with working brain cells can look at the expression on her face, the look in her eyes, the "body language" to see she is crazy. If there isn't s serious intervention really soon, those kids are going to be just as wild and out of control as she is. Britney needs to be in a mental institution. And I am seriuos. How will the court know those kids aren't slapped around and mistreated? The judge said she and Kevin couldn't administer corporal punishment to them but who will check every day to make sure they aren't mistreated, shaken up, shoved and knocked down because they whine or cry and their schedules are messed up and they aren't eating and sleeping properly? They are babies.
A part of me feels bad for her and another part of me thinks it's so unfair that people like her and K-Fed have kids and they don't take care of them and people like me have been struggling for years for the joy to have one and would give their lives for what they have and don't appreciate.

We should get Brit Brit to do an episode of cribs and see if someone can break into the medicine cabinet (or maybe the fridge if she's on that good shit Anna Nicole had) and see if someone can figure out what fantastic pills she's popping. Directing your child through auditions and shows doesn't make you Mom of the Year. TEACHING your kid HOW to be a star AND make good decisions for herself makes you a star parent. Think about it for just a minute, every decision Britney has made since she became of legal age, and therefore, held responsible for her career and life. She started with a 52-hour marriage, and has ended up here. This girl was never taught how to think for herself, which is why she keeps fucking up on such a regular basis.

Not to surprised that Britney doesn't keep them on schedules. There were several occasions that she dragged them out late at night for supper, which always made me wonder if she realized that they had to be put to bed at a reasonable hour.
I am also tired of people bashing Lyn Spears and that she forced Britney to become a sex symbol at the age of 16 when her career really took off, and that is the reason poor Britney is the way she is. By the age of 16, Britney should have nearly been grown up anyway, so to imply that she was a poor impressionable child at that age doesn't make sense. At the age of 16, I considered myself a young adult. I was in my final year of high school. I had a part-time job and had many responsibilities already.
Yes, Britney was pursuing a career before she was 16, and was in the Mickey Mouse Club, and that took away part of her childhood. But she was still going to school in Louisianna before and after MM, so had large gaps of normalcy while growing up, so to imply that she missed all of her childhood is incorrect. Britney wanted her career, and I have never seen any evidence that Lyn forced her into things.
She has no maternal instinct? Most if not all women do. A mother of two that's going out partying 24/7 is being SELFISH. Stay at home and focus on your boys!!! They need their MOTHER.

I didn't know that a maternal bond had to be taught! I have two children and that is something that comes naturally. Maybe she should start to take responsibility for the two children that SHE decided that she wanted to have. If she keeps this (partying)up, unfortunately this is going to be the lifestyle that her children could possibly have or want.
