"Daily" Drug Habit

Michael Jackson’s family is now saying it may have been his daily injections of Demerol that led to his death.

Demerol is a morphine-like drug prescribed for severe pain.

How heartbreaking that Jackson felt the need to numb his life by taking daily Demerol shots.

Those close to him are saying that yesterday’s dose, which he received at 11:30 a.m., may have been “too much.”

We’ll have to wait for the autopsy to know for sure.

Whether he received the drug for persistent pain or because he was addicted, either way, it’s sad.
