Jackson Family Battles Over Michael's Burial Place

The drama never ends!
Although they pulled it together for the memorial at LA's Staples Center on Tuesday, the Jackson family have been arguing nonstop over Michael's final resting place, according to reports.
Brother Jermaine Jackson believes Michael should be buried at Neverland, despite local laws preventing burial on private property.
Exemptions could be made and special permissions could be granted, but that will take him.
Katherine, Michael's mother, believes, "Michael left Neverland for good, never to return," said a source. "He felt violated by law enforcement after his molestation trial. He felt this place he had built had been tainted. Katherine continues to be her son's protector even after his death."
There are also reports that the King of Pop may be cremated and his ashes spread over Neverland.
For the time being, Michael's body is being held at an undisclosed location without burial.

Where was she was his father was beating him? She protected him then? Why would she protect his kids now? As a mother— I would rather kill someone than watch them hurt my kids.

I'm with the Mom; Michael left Neverland for a reason, and did not return. Seems the brothers have dollar signs on their brains - Neverland will be a bigger draw for tourists if Michael is buried there.
Does anyone else get the feeling that Joe Jackson is a dangerous person. Joe is always surrounding himself with influential black activist, such as Jesse Jackson, and Al Sharpton. These (so called Reverends) are always with Black politicians and celebrities who are trouble or in trouble. If you watched the memorial service, there were many times Joe stood up to hug a family member, or other speakers, and Joe was completely ignored. One would not be surprised if he lives a very dark separate life.
I can't believe this family. Do they EVER put their differences aside? For a family that claims to believe in God and everything, they don't seem like they know the meaning of the words love and peace.
just lay him to rest in his home town and let it be done.

In one of Michael's interviews he talks about Neverland as being "A place I lived in, it's not home for me anymore, not after what happened." He doesn't want to be buried there.

i'm with katherine jackson on this one….mj had publicly said that neverland was tainted for him and that he had no wish to return so i am pretty sure that he did not want to be buried there. i think he should buried nearby to his family, that way his children can visit him.

I think he should be cremated and part of his ashes should be spread over Neverland, some ashes sent out to space like he once said he wanted. And the rest can be divided amongst the family to cherish…
Neverland has always been associated with Michael Jackson. I think he should be buried there. It should become a museum..well like…Graceland for tourists. No matter where he is buried, people will try to go see so might as well bury him in a place he built, he spent most of his time and enjoyed at one point. Yes, it might be tainted as they say, but once that place is fixed up just like he had it, it would be as magical as when he lived there. Tourists would appreciate it.
