Debbie Rowe isn’t looking for any money from the Jackson family (just yet), but she will be racking it in if she wins her new lawsuit against the woman who fueled rumors that Debbie was prepared to surrender her custody rights over her two children with Michael Jackson for millions of dollars.
The official documents list the charges in which Debbie is bringing against the woman, Rebecca White, as ” defamation, invasion of privacy and intentional infliction of emotional distress.” Debbie insists that all the “evidence” White provided, including the supposed e-mails where she admits she will trade the kids for cash, are completely fabricated.
In the lawsuit paperwork, Debbie’s team admits the women had contact, but never did they talk about “Mr. Jackson, his family, or Ms. Rowe’s children. There are also no emails between the parties since Mr. Jackson’s death (with the exception of two sent by Ms. White, to which Ms. Rowe did not respond, and in fact, one of which was not even opened until July 14, 2009, when Ms. White’s interview first came to light).”
The lawsuit also claims that this isn’t the first time Rebecca White has committed “malicious acts” for financial gain against celebrities. Supposedly, she has done the same thing to other famous folks, such as Naomi Campbell, singer Robbie Williams, Kate Moss and the late Heath Ledger.
Someone must think “slander” is her middle name!
