North Korean Detainees' Struggle!!!

We smell a Barbara Walters special!!!
Since the return of American journalists, Laura Ling and Euna Lee, who were just released from captivity in North Korea, they have been slowly adjusting to life back home.
Lisa Ling, sister of Laura, divulges on their struggles and detained life abroad. According to Lisa, Laura “did say that they touched North Korean territory very, very briefly. She said that it was maybe 30 seconds, and everything just got sort of chaotic. It├óΓé¼Γäós a very powerful story and she does want to share it.├óΓé¼┬¥
30 seconds?! Seriously?!
In their two months of isolated confinement, the reporters were fed three small meals a day consisting of mostly of rice with rocks mixed in, small vegetables, and fragments of fried fish which Ling “developed a reaction to.”
The cell was extremely small, forcing Ling to often would walk in circles for exercise, read books, and bathe on occasion.
Says Lisa, “Bathing was a little bit difficult because they didn’t have hot water. So she would fill up buckets and she would say, ‘O.K., on Saturday I’m going to wash my hair.’”
Adding, “I think she won a lot of her captors over. She had some really lovely things to say about the people who were watching her. She had two guards in her room at all times. And even though they couldn’t speak together, they developed a sort of strange kinship.”
Since arriving home, Laura has developed a fear of being alone. She attempted to take a brief nap on Wednesday and pleaded for her sister to be there when she woke up.
Things are equally as difficult for colleague, Euna Lee. Lisa says, “I hear that Euna’s 4-year old daughter does not want her to leave her sight. She keeps following her from room to room.”
So sad.
