Amy Adams Joins PT Anderson's Scientology Film!

amy adams joins scientology film

They should get Tom Cruise next! He WAS in PT Anderson's film Magnolia. LOLz.

Okay, so Tom is probs not going to do this film or any film with Paul Thomas Anderson ever again, but we're pleased to report that Amy Adams is set to star in PTA's Scientology film!

Adams will star as the wife of Philip Seymour Hoffman's character, who has been described as "a man who returns from witnessing the horrors of WWII, and in an attempt to find himself, he forms a belief system that catches on in the 1950s."

Joaquin Phoenix has also been attached to the film as Hoffman's "right-hand man." Other actors in talks for the film include The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo's Lena Endra and Laura Dern.

As we said before, this sounds like a very inneresting film, and we're excited to see Amy Adams on board! We know she'll be wonderful!

Are U excited to for PT Anderson's Scientology film? Do U think Amy is a good fit for her role?

Joaquin Phoenix In Talks To Star In Scientology Film

Joaquin Phoenix shower do I?

Joaquin Phoenix may star in a film about a religion crazier than his career!

The actor-turned-rapper-turned-fake-documentary-subject-turned-bearded-homeless-man-turned-actor again is in talks to star in director Paul Thomas Anderson's next drama that’s loosely based on the founding of Scientology.

The film, referred to as The Master — although officially untitled — focuses on the story of a charismatic leader named Lancaster Dodd who creates a new religion in the 1950s.

Phillip Seymour Hoffman is said to be attached to play Dodd, while Phoenix may potentially play his main disciple who becomes Dodd's closest follower, then breaks away from him later in the story.

Jeremy Renner was attached to star, but dropped out after being threatened by Tom Cruise on the set of MI4 it appeared that the project had stalled.

Sounds like an inneresting story and a great role for Phoenix to flex his acting muscles once again.

Would U go see this film if it hits theaters?

Joaquin Phoenix Is Still Here AND May Return To Acting…To Hunt Vampires

joaquin may fight vampires with abe lincoln

Back in September, Joaquin Phoenix was ALL over the news, until we learned that his "documentary" I'm Still Here was fake and then nobody went to see it.

For those of you out there who haven't had a chance to check out Joaquin's "doc" on Instant Netflix, you MAY get another chance to see Phoenix return to real acting in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.

Joaquin is up for the role of Honest Abe's mentor in director Timur Bekmambetov's film.

We think this would be a great move for Joaquin!

Vampire killing is always a solid way to jump start someone's career again except for Wesley Snipes.

Would U like to see Joaquin Phoenix show the 16th President how to kill vampires?

Joaquin Phoenix Goes Back On Letterman

Check out clips (above) from Joaquin's Wednesday night appearance on Letterman.

We still can't get used to not-crazy Joaquin Phoenix! We don't know if we'll ever be able to fully adjust to his return to normalcy.

Do U prefer crazy Joaquin or normal Joaquin?

Joaquin Phoenix Documentary Isn't Going To Make Any Money Real

joaquinphoenixjle.jpg

Say it ain't so, Casey Affleck! Say it ain't so!

Looks like this is a week of closure for Affleck. First, he settles his sexual harassment lawsuits, and now he's finally admitted to the world what we already knew:

The Joaquin Phoenix Documentary, I'm Still Here, is fake!

Even Joaquin's bizarre Late Show With David Letterman interview was staged. Here's what a writer from the show, Bill Scheft, had to say about it:

"That was all an act… Think Andy Kaufman without shaving. That’s what he was doing. And Dave knew about it and Dave loved it because he could play along. He could do whatever he wanted with it. And he did, and it was great television. But I will take credit for the line, 'I think I owe Farrah Fawcett an apology.' I gave that to him during the break."

Guess we've gotta give credit where credit is due. Admittedly, there were a few points where we weren't even sure what the deal was with this movie…BUT now we know and the magic is gone.

Good Night Crazy Joaquin Phoenix, and flights of Afflecks sing thee to thy rest!

Will U still see I'm Still Here, now that U know it's all a hoax?
