Nathan Fillion News Archive
Joss Whedon fans, unite — because the trailer for Con Man dropped, in all its meta glory!
This crowdfunded comedy webseries stars Firefly alum Alan Tudyk as Wray Nerely, former star of massively popular canceled sci-fi series Spectrum.
The show within the show was prematurely cancelled and has become a cult classic, generating a HUGE fanbase (hmmm, sound familiar?)
While Wray's friend and old co-star Jack Moore (Nathan Fillion) saw movie star success after the show ended, Wray is merely trying to become more than just a figure at conventions and comic book stores living off of his past fame!
The show plans to feature many cameos from the Whedonverse, including Amy Acker, Sean Mager, Felicia Day, Seth Green, Summer Glau, Sean Astin, James Gunn, and of course Joss himself!
Check out the trailer (above) and go rent Con Man on Vimeo on September 30!

OK, so Firefly is probably never coming back. Sorry, Browncoats, but that ship has sailed.
BUT you can have the next best thing!
In order to get Con Man off the ground, they've set up an Indiegogo page! And they need your help! Alan says:
"This would be the quickest way to see us back on a spaceship. That's the truth. It's not going to be the Serenity. But it is a really cool spaceship!"

Firefly's Nathan Fillion Is Guest Starring On The Big Bang Theory Playing The Best Character Of All — Himself!
Nathan Fillion's status as a nerd icon is now official!
The Castle star is guest-starring in an upcoming episode of The Big Bang Theory as the most exciting character possible: himself!
Nathan is joining a long tradition of sci-fi stars making cameos on the sitcom, including Katee Sackhoff, Wil Wheaton, George Takei, Carrie Fisher, and even Nathan's Firefly costar Summer Glau!
Guesting on Big Bang has become something of a rite of passage.
So how will the gang meet Nathan? Simple: they see him at a restaurant and debate whether or not to ask him for a photo!
Clearly, their geekiness gets the better of them! To see how well it works out, you can watch Nathan's episode February 19th on CBS!

DAMN, gurl! We'd rescue Stana Katic if she were stuck in a Castle! LOL!
The floor length black dress also sported some gorgeous embellishments that ranged from polka dots to round stars to little white daisies!
While the combination normally would be a bit odd, Stana totally pulls the look off!
From her red lips to the elegant updo, we love this look!
What do YOU think about her ensem??

We love these men!!
Nathan paired his two-piece with various shades of purple, while Matthew did his best 50 Shades impersonation in a fitted gray ensem…
But our fave guy of this bunch was Mr. Worldwide, in a sharp and classic tuxedo!
Male fashion can get tired real fast, but these three make it fun!

Of all the shows that are taken away too soon, no show has rallied as much support as Firefly.
The show's fans helped to get a movie made and everything! But with only 13 episodes, the Browncoats just want more!
Well, they're in luck! At this year's San Diego Comic-Con, news broke that the entire cast would be coming back for… a video game?
And Wash, AKA Alan Tudyk, who has gone on since the show to become an accomplished voice actor in films like Frozen and Wreck-It-Ralph, will play multiple voices! Neat!
See the game's epic first trailer (along with a surprise appearance) …AFTER THE JUMP!!!
We're officially in love with Joss Whedon's latest muse.
Remember how he made that Buffy The Vampire Slayer napkin? Well, now The Avengers director has done it again!
Only this time, he's drawn a picture depicting some of the cast of his cult TV show Firefly.
That's right! The show famous for getting a premature cancellation on FOX after just 11 (stellar) episodes has come back to life via a pen-to-notepad drawing of Mal, River, and Wash; played by Nathan Fillion, Summer Glau, and Alan Tudyk, respectively.
And not only do we get to see these awesome pictures, Joss is also hiding little inside jokes and easter eggs in them too!
For instance, SPOILER ALERT, in this one, Joss drew Wash saying, "I didn't die!," with a note, 'a la Coulson.' A solid reference to his newest TV show Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Pretty soon the whole Whedonverse is going to be recreated in 2-D!
Joss, we'd like to personally ask for Dollhouse to be your next show to get the stick-figure treatment.
Five chalk Eliza Dushku drawings on a coffee filter will work just fine.
